What is the Tunnel Pink Mafia?
Following the tradition of the Pink Mafia Sisters (a female skydiving organization http://www.ThePinkMafia.com), the Tunnel Pink Mafia http://www.TunnelPinkMafia.com was founded in May 2005 with the intent to bond female tunnel flyers, promote flying in our communities, and express our passion for human flight.
How do I become a Tunnel Pink Mafia Sister?
Lady flyers of all disciplines and skill levels are welcome to join the sisterhood. There is a simple initiation process required to achieve a TPM membership number. The flyer must dock on a Barbie doll in the tunnel with one of the delegates during their initiation flight.
Paige Rudolph is currently initiating new sisters SkyVenture Orlando. She also plans to visit ALL of the tunnels to spread the TPM love to new and existing sisters! Please check the events calendar for Paige's travel details. To become a TPM sister while flying at SkyVenture Orlando, contact Paige TPM #1 via e-mail at Paige@TunnelPinkMafia.com .
SkyVenture Perris was the second tunnel added to the Tunnel Pink Mafia. Rosa, our second delegate, can be found at SkyVenture Perris with her Barbie and sweet smile. Rosa happily welcomes the opportunity to spread the love of flying to women flyers everywhere. Dawn Suiter inducts new TPM members at Flyaway Indoor Skydiving in Pigeon Forge, TN and at the Appalachian Amusement Center in North Carolina. Dawn can be found flying with her daughter Lexi TPM#5, her Barbie MJ, and many other TPM sisters. What does this organization have to offer?
By joining the great sisterhood of The Pink Mafia, the TPM hopes to add a positive new dimension to the skydiving organization. One goal of the tunnel chapter is to include female members of varying ages, flying skills, and disciplines. A vertical wind tunnel offers a unique opportunity to share skills and experiences with the next generation of flyers and skydivers.
This organization offers a fantastic bond that can unite female tunnel flyers and skydivers worldwide. It provides a powerful support group and positive representation of women in our sport, while encouraging females to improve their tunnel flying regardless of skill level or their amount of flight time.

| The Tunnel Pink Mafia is a great idea. Thanks for all of the work and effort that Paige, Dawn and Rosa put into it. I just wish that I had discovered a group like this when I first started jumping and tunnel flying. Maybe I would have gotten through the 3 year lull that made me stop skydiving and not really enjoy the DZ. Better late than never. So many of my chick skydiving friends have moved or quit skydiving and while jumping and hanging with dudes is fun, it can get old. I am far from any tunnels, but now I hope that I will always have someone to fly with. TPM rocks!

I feel so lucky about where I fly and how many female flyers that I see and fly with on a regular basis, when I go to the tunnel/DZs. There is a very talented group of experienced women flyers/coaches in Southern California's Elsinore and Perris DZs, who have all encouraged and supported myself and many other girls tremendously as new female flyers. They are amazing flyers, yet they remain so humble
At Perris' tunnel competitions, such as Tunnel League, the female flyers are always the ones that kick *** the most. Christy, Erin and Melanie have often come in first place above all of the flyers that compete. There a quite a few more very talented female flyers that fly there, coach and compete, besides just those three, but those three ladies are the ones to beat in the comps (amazing!) These ladies skydive as well as the tunnel fly, so you should consider coming this way to share in this experience.
I honestly cannot say enough good things about jumping and tunnel flying in Southern California...great weather, great flyers, great events, great support of the men/women and many female flyers to fly with! I hope that every female skydiver or bodyflyer, who can make it to SoCal, does so and experiences it for themselves. (I've also flown in Orlando's tunnel several times and miss the wonderful people over there, as well.)
Jenn, since you are not close to a tunnel, maybe you can consider joining more Tunnel Mafia ladies at an upcoming event of ours, like the "Wigs on Fire" event in Southern California on President's Day weekend ~or~ the Valentine's Day weekend event with Paige in Las Vegas. (I'll be hosting "Wigs on Fire", so if you have any questions, please feel free to PM me.) For instance, if you are interested in freefly/freestyle, there are several talented people at both Elsinore and Perris, who can coach you in that discipline. (Ashley flies and coaches at Elsinore, and she was the Bronze Freestyle medalist at Nationals.) Just let us know what you are interested in working on during that weekend, and we can help to make it happen.

| I wish so bad that I had the $ and vacation time to just stay out in Vegas or CA till your event. I'd love to fly with all you ladies. I keep hearing of this amazing vibe I need to get in on, not to mention the amazing skill of all the ladies out there. I wish Chicks Rock wasn't so close to TFTC or else I would totally rock out that one.

Should be another busy but fun year. I'm not sure if I'll do fundraising events at AZ or CO but there will be some madness, inductions, and partying happening for sure

Hey Paigey!
I was looking at your schedule, again, and I was thinking that perhaps we can meet up in Skyventure Colorado in late summer or early fall of next year. I'm sure that Mary would love to have us visit her. I'm all about doing a camp out there, RW OR freefly. I'm sure that Mary will keep us posted with any upcoming camp dates. (Right Mar?) Anyway, that was just a thought that I had this morning, so that we could both travel to SVC and also finally meet.

| Whooooooooooo, great idea Rosa! I'm sure Mar will keep us in the loop but in case she's super busy as I'm sure she will be, I get the SVCO newsletter that has good info and dates in it. She sent me a PM about how Barbie stays in the harness so once that is cleared w. Norm we'll be in business for inductions too. I'd love to have a party out there, nothing big like your event event but something for everyone to do after hours to hang out and get to know one another. What do you think? Pink Parties have always been fun for me.

BTW, my friend Louie said he could duplicate the harness Piers made for me. He said he would have to charge for supplies and a little labor (since it would be after hours work) but could get it done in the new year if you wish. Just let me know if you are interested.
