| I am not sure this is the right forum for this question, but oh well. My RW suit works great for both belly fly skydiving and belly flying in the tunnel. I need to get a freefly suit because booties just don't work in a sit in freefall. I know it is a lot to ask, but I want a suit that will work relatively well in the tunnel and in freefall so that I don't have to get two suits. Does anyone have any recommendations about this. I found a design on the Firefly site that I really like and will go well with my pretty new container. But, I don't know how well Firefly suits fly in the tunnel. Though they are more expensive, I have also looked at Ouragan suits, but I would have no idea which "fit" to get and don't know if the freefly suits fly well in the tunnel or vice versa. I definitely want to get something so that I don't have to wear the SkyVenture standard issue stinky balloon suit. Thanks for the help.

| As far as getting a suit for both tunnel and the sky, don't! The tunnel puts A TON of wear on your suit. Just use the tunnels suits when you go to visit- I know their suits suck but it will ruin sky suits in no time. Tunnel suits are expensive for as infrequently as you fly (its stupid that tunnels aren't everywhere well maybe not but you get the point), I say go for a good skysuit and maybe try to find a used skysuit for the tunnel.
For sky suits and tunnel suits you will not find a better made and more creative product than an Ouragan Suit [http://www.Ouragansuits.com[/url]. Nancy is a doll and sews/designs beautiful suits. They are simply the best out there. Each one is like an Orange County Chopper or another custom ride. NO ONE ELSE will have one like yours, Nancy simply won't do it. Plus, if you get a suit from Nancy, I'll give you permission from Larry her embroidery guy http://www.alchemysewing.com and that patch I gave you can be embroided on your suit for just costs. I ate the cost of digitizing the logo so I own the logo Larry has. If you want to do that just let me know and I'll give Larry a call. I have it swen on my and Larry did all my embroidery (as he does for all Ouragan suits) and it is beautiful.

| I guess it is good that I asked. I would have had no idea that the tunnel is so hard on sky suits. I know that my RW suit always needs repairs after the tunnel. I guess I should have put two and two together. Any ideas about the different "fits" that Ouragan suits offers for sky suits? I am unsure of which fit I would need. I probably won't get a suit until March or so.....Jake and I went way overboard budget wise on our Orlando adventure, but man was it a blast! Also, if you are an uncreative soul, such as myself, is there someone at Ouragan to help you create a cool design for a suit? But, as soon as I am ready to order a suit, I will ask you for some help and info.....I didn't get a patch from you when I was in Orlando. Thanks for the advice.

I would go for the tight fit suit. Most females I know love it and look great in it. The extra drag will help you learn to freefly but it is not a necessity. Peter G. @ Ouragan and Nancy T. can help you out with design for a small charge. I worked with Peter on my TPM tunnel suit and I love how it came out. They will get you the suit you dream of AND MORE!!!!! So worth the price and wait its not funny. Talk with Jake and other coaches about the fit, they'd know more than me about that sky stuff
PM me your address for a patch via mail, sorry I must have left them at home.

| | If you are any where near the UK give Chappy a Call at Original Lizzard. He will custom make you a suit to die for.(can give you the number if you are interested). The tunnel will see of any average suit in no time at all. The wear rate is frightening! Buy the best you can afford. Remember that it is not unusual to do the equivalent of a years skydiving in a couple of weekends in a tunnel, so s tunnel flyers kit takes a real bashing. |

| | That makes sense. It is vital that you get a suit that fits you properly, ordering via mail order is always a bit of a risk. Have fun and enjoy. |

| | I know how much paige likes her Ouragans - and they are fantastic suits - i have been looking at the latest one yesterday, the workmanship is fantastic. But they are PRICEY - very pricey. from what i understand there may be some other manufacturers doing specific tunnel suits very soon. Watch this space..... |

| If I'm not mistaken, I think EG Sky Systems is making tunnel suits. At a minimum he makes excellent jumpsuits. He built my camera suit for me and has me as a customer for life now. A few of us at my dripzone (yes, that was typed that way on purpose) have jumpsuits made by him and they are all standing up to the abuse of Cessnas. You can't beat the price he charges particulary given everything being tailor made and the construction is absolutely fantastic. If the Army built their tanks out of jumpsuit material, they would go to EG. http://www.egsky.com/
