| | As John suggested, lets all Fly for Peace! Together we can help eachother ogranize an event at our home tunnels on World Peace day September 21st! We could possibly raise some money for charity, certainly spread a great message and enjoy ourselves at the same time! We have some great organizers here in our midst (coughPAIGEcough) and together I think we could do it! Let's use this thread to discuss ideas and ways to help eachother MAKE IT HAPPEN! What do you think?

| Sounds great, like I said before I'm all about it  Whatever day, tunnel, etc. I would love to organize something here at SVO. I'll be sure to talk to Ron about this, we've got some cool things in the works for 2006.

| This is great, it's good to see people doing something they love and making it worthwhile by doing things for charity, etc .. Keep everyone updated and let us know how you get on!

| | Ok... so we have a list of organizers and participating tunnel forming... two at each tunnel would certainly make it easier!! AAC - Myself & John Flyaway PF - I'll work on that try to get Robbie & Wes to do it SkyVenture Orlando - Paige and ??? SkyVenture Perris - Rosa and ??? Bodyflight Bedford - who's up for it? Airkix - your name here? Flyaway Las Vegas - I'll talk to Keith & Chris to see who could do it there... (quote this message and add your name and/or tunnel to the list) Let's get a participation list going and then we can work on activities... and can we find an appropriate charity... something preferrably peace oriented or AT LEAST aviation related...

| Sorry Ms. Dawn, but I most likely will not be able to formally organize another large tunnel flying event after the Locks of Love event. I have my younger brother's wedding to help with, and my older brother's wife is expecting (twins) in the summer. Furthermore, I am traveling to China, among other places, and I am already working on new non-skydiving/tunnel flying charity projects for later in the year. Furthermore, I plan on beginning new work, which will have me much, much busier than I have been. As I've stated in my prior post, I'd be very happy to attend an event that someone else gives at that time, though.

| | Oh bummer! Well... I'm glad you'll be happy to attend though! That's a start for sure! Hopefully we can get a plan together here that doesn't need to much organizing and maybe each tunnel will be able to organize their own events with our ideas here! Paige and I were talking... each tunnel could pick a charity... I would love to have the tunnels provide FLIGHTS as donations to a charity that will take them and money in the alternative. For instance the Make a Wish foundation that grants wishes for terminally ill children. What could bring more peace to someones life than flying? There are lots of other candidates of course for donations...

| SkyVenture Orlando will donate flights to the local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation [MAWF] (I'm thinking based on the number of flyers we can get to attend). MAWF is a large, well known charity, that spends a their $ on the kids and not all the paper work/staff.
I encourage each tunnel to provide flights for children w. their local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I think Dawn has it right, what could bring someone more peace than flying? In addition to granting a wish we can help them live out their dreams where they fly free of their illnesses and all their worries and cares.
Come on everyone, join the fun, fly, donate $, donate flights for the kids, anything you can
