Finally got to do it last week (at Flyaway Las Vegas for my 47th birthday :-) (Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks??); many thanks to Wilbur (I think that was his name) and everyone there! ALWAYS felt that they were in control and I wouldn't get hurt)! Yup, I'm totally hooked. As a background, I would never jump out of a plane, and I have a fear of heights. Oddly, I did not feel ANY fear of heights, even when getting fairly close to the [30' ?] ceiling! Had a blast and want to try it again (although, I *did* lose an earplug and am just now beginning to hear out of that ear; I'll use my own next time (good musician's plugs)). I have some newbie questions now:</P><P>1. I've seen some of the "flight suits" that are on some videos on YouTube and they look nothing like the floppy suits we had at Flyaway. I'm guessing that some ppl have different suits, because they are "better" at it (and the floppy suits give more lift?). I've also seen some other "flight suits" offered on web sites (not for skydiving, but for Military Pilots, etc). Can these be used as well, or does the term "flight suit" have multiple meanings/applications (like "toast")? Is it difficult to get a franchise for one of these tunnels? (I know there is one here in the Bay Area (East Bay), but a little competition wouldn't hurt). I saw something about an "L1" tunnel for a couple mil (don't know if that's a "total cost" or not).</P><P>3. Being hooked now, does anyone see the possibility of lower prices at a tunnel?
