Flyaway style...

Hello again folks, I'm just wondering if anyone has a progressive curriculum for my style of tunnel (flyaway - niagara freefall). I'm currently whiting my own but if there is an established one, I'd love to know.

MX

Learners techniques

Hi guys,

I have only spent about 20minutes in a wind tunnel, and i'm still getting to grips with basic flying.. Seeing as though this forum's here I thought I might aswell see if I can get some tips from some of you pro's ..

I have a video of my last flight where I had picked up the technique of flying a bit better, but there's still some room for improvement ..

Maintaining the arched position is difficult, and sometimes when I think I am arched I am actually not, and my arse is in the air .. Also my legs tend to wave around a lot in the air stream, i'm not adjusted to the sensation of wind passing through me very fast!!

Is there any tips or helping pointers you guys can recommend?? I do stretches before I go in the tunnel to warm up a bit .. I will be going again in a few weeks, I hope to be able to progress a bit more

Post your favorite RW pics

Well, I'm no belly flyer, still never worn a booty suit but I can't wait to try and fly one. I think it will be most amusing. I'll be sure to post pics or video of that

Here's a silly one of Ari and I sucking face in the tunnel. Can you tell I don't want to work today?!?!?

Here are links to much better belly flying pics...
-TPM Website-
In The Tunnel: <a href="http://www.pinkmafiatunnel.com/ViewGallery.aspx?GI=71" target=_"blank" class="SmlLinks">http://www.pinkmafiatunnel.com/ViewGallery.aspx?GI=71
First Tunnel Flights: <a href="http://www.pinkmafiatunnel.com/ViewGallery.aspx?GI=77" target=_"blank" class="SmlLinks">http://www.pinkmafiatunnel.com/ViewGallery.aspx?GI=77

-Bodyflight.net-
Photos: <a href="http://www.bodyflight.net/bodies_in_flight.html" target=_"blank" class="SmlLinks">http://www.bodyflight.net/bodies_in_flight.html
2005 Photos of the week: <a href="http://www.bodyflight.net/photos_of_the_week.html" target=_"blank" class="SmlLinks">http://www.bodyflight.net/photos_of_the_week.html
Any other flat flyers around? Wanna turn some points?

So me .. I'm a flat flyer in general .. I can back fly .. I can knee fly .. but so far ... I've gotten most enjoyment from flat flying, 2, 3 and 4 way stuff. I have tried getting in to sit fly before but you know .. a combination of me being unfit and the tunnel not being able to go fast enough prevented me from doing so. I've spent hours trying to get in to sit .. When I'm a few KG lighter I'll try in Airkix or Bodyflight Bedford .. coz both those babies can create fast air. So .. who else is in to flat flying around here? Anyone wanna come and turn some points with me?
