Shane between the two of us, we have to be able to rally a crowd at SVO for this I'm all about it, Ron may even be able to help us out, I'm going to talk to him soon, I'll toss out the idea.

I think we should send flyers to every tunnel so they can have flyer participate. Flash the peace sign, take a pic if you can, send it in, get a kick *** website?!?! Who knows, but it sounds like a great cause. With this website we should be able to rally the masses a lot easier than before.

I'm super excited.

RE: Ivars, the owner is in the USA

FANTASTIC IDEA! In 2001, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a new resolution 55/282 declaring 21 September of each year as the International Day of Peace.

RE: Ivars, the owner is in the USA

Don't we already have a world peace day?

we could just do it on that day....

RE: Ivars, the owner is in the USA
John Suiter (16/12/2005)
I wish the world was a little more peaceful For travel.

So what's up with world peace?

We need to send tunnels to all countries that are in up evil and see if

Bodyflight can bring them a breath of fresh air!

I just don't understand

can't we all just fly for peace!
We could all fly for peace on a given weekend, let's do it! We could let everyone we know that they should fly for peace on 'X' weekend. Of course we'd all have to get pics of us flashing the peace sign.

It would be incredible if we could coordinate it with the weekend of the Olympics and have the flyers there flash the sign too. We could then collect pictures from all over the world and all fly for peace!

I'm up for it. Anyone else?

RE: Ivars, the owner is in the USA

Great to see the sport taking on a global network of people flying their everywhere.

Congrats to Ivars & staff ! It turns out that they are doing some very cool stuff in their tunnel now that it has been modified from the original configuration.

ALSO.. big news...which I'll be posting on my own site soon, is that Ivars and his group landing the 2006 Olympics opening ceremonies. We received emails from the committee some months ago and recommended several tunnels for the job. As it turns out, Ivars and his group will be fashioning a new tunnel just for the purpose of opening ceremonies! Very cool!

We all flew together a bit, and it was a great time! Still can't wait to take my European tunnel tour, with 9 tunnels to visit, I'll be a very busy girl!!!

Ivars, the owner is in the USA

Hey! I've never flown this tunnel, but oh do I wish I could! The videos I've seen outta here are awesome! I love the surround on this tunnel too... nearly wall to wall, but not really as it flares out at the top! These guys are able to fly up and jump on the outer ring then jump back in again like they used to do in Switzerland!!

The owner Ivars is actually here in the USA this week at the IAAPA convention in Atlanta and is coming over the Appalachian Amusement Center to fly in a couple of hours and take a look at the prototype! Looking forward very much to finally meeting him in person, and seeing more video. I asked him to bring us a tape for our Archives!

I've got a cool video link here: http://www.cube-media.lv/stuff/AERODIUM/

The tunnel was purchased from Francois Germain in Canada, his father invented the ORIGINAL levitationarium (patented) quite some time ago. There is an interview with his older sister on my site, the first person to ever fly there.. very cool!
