We've already purchased 10 hours of block time for Bodyflight Bedford in the UK are about to do something similar at Airkix in the UK and will start discussions with 2 of the USA based tunnels. The USA tunnels are likely to be Skyventure Orlando and The Appalachian Amusement Centre - but let's not get too carried away just yet because I haven't even talked to the operators of these tunnels about this yet. We also need to auction off some our kidneys on Ebay to raise the money to do this, but we're confident we can find some buyers so something should get sorted.

Some of this time, maybe even quite a lot of this time depending on how we're all feeling here at tunnelflyer.com will be available to tunnelflyer.com members in 2006 for FREE. Now, this isn't without a catch. We're a generous bunch - this is true, but we do want something from you in return. We want you to start taking your friends and families to the wind tunnels and showing them a good time! Do it. Call them up and get them to go. Introduce them to the world of tunnel flying. Once your friends and family members have had a fly - if they liked it - get them to register here. Tell all your tunnel flying friends about this site and GET THEM TO REGISTER ON THIS SITE. This offer is open to skydivers who really enjoy tunnel flying.. but it's really aimed at tunnel flyers who have no interest in leaping from a plane .. so you naughty skydiver crowd please don't go abusing this most generous of offers!

We can't promise exactly how much time you'll get, it may just be a couple of minutes if lots of people turn up and we'd by telling porkies if we told you exactly how it was going to work, but it's likely to go like this. We'll book several days over the course of 2006 at some of our favourite wind tunnels .. maybe a few hours on each of these days .. you'll be given at least 2 weeks notice .. if you turn up you'll get a chance to fly. You might be expected to share your skills with other tunnelflyer.com members, i.e. the tunnel superstars out there will be expected to help those just setting out on their tunnel careers, but I'm sure you won't mind. You might also have to fly with tunnelflyer.com staff - but hey, free tunnel, we're sure you can live with it!

We'll post here when we have more news about the deals we're lining up and the day's we have booked. In the meantime please help us get visitors to the world's wind tunnels AND GET THEM TO REGISTER FOR THIS WEB SITE. The more tunnel flyers there are, the more tunnels will open, the more tunnels that open - the better deals we'll get. The more time we spend in the air - the better we get, the better we get - the cooler the things we can do, the cooler the things we can do the more fun it will be!! Gosh I've got so excited I need to lie down.

Better to drool, whilst using the computer .. than when in the tunnel..! Less chance of getting it in your eyes.

AAC is always in on stuff like that.

This year we gave away several hours worth of time in the form of gift certificates & vouchers.. we also hosted a few tunnel parties for outta towners each who enjoyed the benefit of free time on their visit!!!

Giving away flight time makes you feel like Santa Claus, YEAR ROUND!  Have fun with it James!!!

you said, "Get away from the family and do something more interesting instead"

Wow!!  That sux!  None of that for me, I intend to spend christmas curled up on my new couch, watching the kid open gifts, opening my precious gems, eating a lazy lunch, POSSIBLY popping over to the tunnel for a mid afternoon PRIVATE flight & get together with at AAC.  Honestly, I just can't think of anything better..

oh.. yeah... something COULD make it better... if my new DaKine Rags wing jacket would show up under my tree...

ya never know!

Free tunnel time sounds FAB! I've already introduced my mate Mark to tunnel flying. He flew for the first time at Bedford just after they'd openned, he's the 3rd person in our video of Bedford. I'll try and get him to join here but he works for the NHS and getting webaccess at work can be dodgy.
