| The sun goes down and the fans start up.... two teams composed of 5 to 6 players each fly out into the huge oval tunnel. The stadium seating around the chamber holds a crowd excited for the nights game. A relative ball is thrown in through the bottom and the game is on. The game is simple,.... get the ball through a goal at the oppisite side of the tunnel, past the goalie while not being tackled or stripped by the opposing team... could you imagine the fun I wana play!!! What if there was no net as well... you fall out and the game continues... |

| | On a similar note, I'm actually trying to get Vertical Wind Tunnel Corp to design an oval exit for a tunnel... AND your Arena Airball sounds alot like my dream idea too! I imagine a football field size playing field comprised entirely of air columns, so close to eachother that you can fly from one to the other without stopping! Also, arena airball sounds alot like Quiddich!

| | Sign Me up for a life time contract ! Put me in Coach! I'm ready to fly. As I was a basketball player in high school , several instructors also worked at the tunnel so we had 10 basketballs and went in the tunnel at flyaway and had a ball you could say! we also used a plastic nerf hoop up on the wall and used a big ball of duct tape, no tunnel would run with out it . As the speed the balls just bounced off the top net and walls, you could spin it to controll it's direction and speed. as you would fly up balls would come from everywhere hitting you in all paces good & bad was like dodge Ball with a twist. a few left with small amounts of blood ,butt as they say no blood no foul. with walls or SV it would be cool to have sensors in spots everywhere and a timed event to turn off or on lights that changed randomly.

| What if you altered this concept slightly and made it into laser tag or something along those lines? Has anyone read Ender's Game? (Ha! The sci-fi nerd that I am).

| The creation of a true 21st century game experience would be a dream come true. Seems to me that an vwt arena would be the best potential experience short of off-world, micro-g game events.
My thoughts on the subject of an arena scale game have also been influenced by Ender's Game and other's of the dystopic SciFi genre. Insights gleaned from veterans of Vietnam era through Warcraft fanatics that have returned home from the Gulf have for me also played their part in nurturing the formation of that dream.
