Come join the fun FRIDAY @ 3pm. The tunnel will close just for us to fly and party!!!!!!! Think TPM pseudo Naughty Cupid Boogie/Pink Party but in Vegas and at a tunnel - I've got hearts, cupids, arrows, and art deco Valentine's graphics to stick up all over with some pink and white streamers. I’ll supply tape, scissors, and decorations if you lend a hand I’d owe you big time!
That's right, Carrie and I are going to Las Vegas for some TPM Madness! February 9th - 12th, 2006. Whooooooo! I'll be offering TPM inductions all day on Friday February 10th and Saturday February 11th at Flyaway located behind Walgreen’s on the strip.
We would LOVE to get other Vegas area flyers in on the fun (that means you CA & AZ peeps , you’re so close- come play w. us ) let's make it an all day Tunnel Boogie Friday Feb 10th! I know Carrie and I are down. Check another tunnel off the list of ones you have flown
Oh what fun the night brings in Las Vegas Join us for after flying fun at the tunnel and elsewhere for some refreshments and a good dose of sin (not the bad sin though, just the ‘in good fun’ sin ) from sin city .
Our Valentine Boogie at Flyaway Las Vegas (http://www.Flyawayindoorskydiving.com) will also be a fundraiser for the Las Vegas Valley Humane Society (http://www.lvvhs.org). Donate generously to our furry friends; they are in need of our love and compassion!
:: Possible Tunnel Fun :: (Please add suggestions for this section in your post, I’d love feedback, suggestions, comments, and creative, whacky, fun ideas!)
-Everyone having all kinds of fun flying w. the Flyaway staff, TPM girlies, and inductees.
-Carrie & I are going to try and dress up in cute Valentine's costumes to fly in. If you are up for it join the fun! All costumes will have to be approved by a Vegas tunnel staff member/owner so think windproof (We’re going to try and find a flesh color sweat suits- sew zp wings to it so we can be cupid! I have white, black, yellow, and blue zp sitting around I need to use lol.)
-I'll have my camera and would love to get footage of anyone who shows up. I'll do my best to fly with you and maybe we can get the staff in on the action too.
-My Flyaway Las Vegas video pipe dream- to be back carving low to the net while the instructors bounce off the walls above me. I don't even know it is possible but I think it'd make for some fun video!

| | Hey Paige! You know I'd love to be there, and I really wish I could be! Glad to have been to the last pink event Tunnel for the Cause! Good luck, anybody reading this in or around Vegas needs to make the drive out for Valentines for sure! Paige knows how to throw a great party and the Vegas staff are the best!

| Thanks for encouraging attendees! I will have goodie bags for 6 girls like TFTC except these have slightly different goodies to keep it fresh. I'm having so much fun planning this, I can't wait to get all the staff at Flyaway involved. There are 3+ girls out there interested in joining, I'm super pumped.
Carrie and I will be dressing up like Cupid and offering flights and photos for a $5 donation to the Las Vegas Valley Humane Society (along with taking cold hard cash, lump sum donations). We'll have sweatsuits and zp wings my Mom and I are going to sew on over X-mas. I'm going to hit Nancy up for some zp sewing tips before I leave. I hope she has the time to give me a few pointers, my Mom is an awesome but doesn't know what material to use to hold up to the winds.
Any tips for sewing on wings anyone?
Edit to my previous post: VanillaSkyGirl is thinking about attending, she is not a definite. Sorry for the goof.

| Not so much tips for wings, but did I ever tell you I used to sew for Flyaway?? Yes, that's how I met ALOT of tunnelrats... they brought me their favorite old blown out Flyaway suit and we would trade repairs & modifications for ... well, whatever they had Double folds and a double needle or stitch it twice if you don't have a double needle machine. If you have any frays after your cuts, burn them or trim nicely and use a fabric glue to hold down the initial folds. That's all I got for ya... also, as I played with wings before, I highly recommend that they are adjustable, meaning when you belly fly, they will be very much right behind you, but when your walking around you can fluff them a bit to stick out at your sides... I accomplish this with a drawstring.. pull it tight & together, pull it loose & let them flap... know what I mean?

Double folds and double needle/twice stitch. Got ya! The draw string idea for the wings sounds awesome. Wasn't even thinking that fancy, thanks for the tip. I may have to give that a go, this will be funny!

| Of course Carrie and I will share our pics! We'll be super cute and trying very hard to raise money for our furry friends. How fun will flying with Cupid be? Esp. when you see the pic and how big we'll be smiling- I love flying with new people esp. for a great cause! Maybe we can get people on here to donate to the Las Vegas Valley Humane Society?

| The sweats have arrived for Cupid! This will be my beer time flying in sweats. I'll be sure to give it a few goes before attempting to fly with other people as cupid. Don't need me crashing and burning  
I'll be sure to post pictures as soon as I have the costume sewn. I will be a sewing fool December 20th-29th since that is the only time I will have a machine handy. I'm betting my pal Larry at Alchemy Sewing http://www.alchemysewing.com would let me work a little if I bribed him with beer and green mooolah
