Come out to SVAZ, compete, have fun, and make new friends! For more information please visit http://www.skydiveaz.com/TunnelCompetition.html

Laura Kraus and I will be competing! Come hang with some Tunnel Pink Mafia ladies!

An Update From Mick Nuttal one of the organizers:
I'm very happy to announce we now have three Judges in place for the competition. We also have teams registered from coast to coast.

The cheif judge of the competition will be: Kama Mountz! She has been a competitor of skydiving for over 10 years and has been an Organizer and Meet Diretor of several skydiving competitions. She is an offical US/FAI Judge (AE Events).

She will be joined by Greg Gasson, and Ron Noffz!
Both gentlemen have a very impressive skydiving back ground and competition history!

There are still slots available for Open and Advanced teams! Please let us know if you plan on tuning in a registration form. Skyventureaz.com

Good luck with the comp.

A little too far for us to come and we only fly fat belly stuff.

Will get into the free fly stuff one day.

Thanks! It's going to be a great time. Mick and Jason are awesome!

Laura and I have decided to call our team Vertical Vixens.

Dawn is super sweet and creating a logo for us so we can go over there dressed in style. Dawn, you rock!

I'll upload the logo when it's done if possible.

Long story short, Laura has a bad wrist (heal fast babe ) so I recruited Dalton to come fly with me in AZ. We had an amazing time! Most certainly we had the least pressure to perform out of anyone in the open division; this wasn't our home tunnel, we didn't train, and I was 1 of 2 non instructors in the open division.

We flew the compulsaries and had a blast. Our free rounds rocked but because of a computer glitch, the free rounds were not scored and didn't count in our final totals The judges were hard at work for many, many, many hours trying to fix the glitch but it was so late they decided to finish up so everyone could disperse.

Mick and Jason took first in the open class. Congrats guys, you flew beautifully and organized an amazing event! Dalton and I finished dead last but I think we had the most fun of anyone No expectations, no pressure, tons of fun!

Dalton's dad Tom was there with Jackie cheering us on. Israel and SudsyFist also came out to show their support. It was a weekened filled with new amazing friends and great times. Thanks to Greg Gasson for his hard work judging, his hospitality, and sweet puppies! We all ate at Lil Abners, it has some of the best BBQ in all of AZ! Be sure to eat there if you are ever near Tucson.

Hey Paige

Sounds like you had a great time. I am thinking of going out there next year. In fact I am thinking of trying to visit every single wind tunnel in the world next year. Just need to raise some cash to do it. I tried selling my body, I only got $5 and even then they asked for a refund ;-)
